Think Before You Share Online

Internet Safety

Should I share, or should I not?

This assembly has been developed by SchoolBeat to reinforce key messages set out by NSPCC Cymru on how to keep children and young people safe online. The presentation guides learners on how to share safely and the steps to follow if they have shared something they shouldn’t have online.

Keeping children safe online

Internet safety is a core element within the Wales School Police Programme, with lessons including Stay Smart, Look Who's Talking and Risky Pics being delivered regularly by SPOs in primary and secondary schools throughout Wales. We keep up to date with information about the latest social media trends so we can effectively safeguard children from being exposed to harm online. SchoolBeat provides guidance to parents on how to keep their children safe online on our Parents section.

Assembly Presentation

This assembly is designed for KS2 pupils and is available for SPOs, teachers, youth workers and other professionals to deliver.
