Temgesic sublingual tablets contain the active ingredient buprenorphine, which is a type of medicine called an opioid analgesic (painkiller). It is a strong painkiller related to morphine.
It is used to relieve severe to moderate pain when prescribed by a Doctor. The drug works by acting on the central nervous system. It is described as a depressant and analgesic and can be taken orally or can be injected.
